Das Wienerklassik Orchester  wurde im Jahre 1998 von Solisten bedeutendster Wiener Orchester gegründet. Die außergewöhnliche Vielseitigkeit des WKO spiegelt sich auch in der variablen Besetzungsgröße wider: vom Streichquartett, über Kammermusik bis hin zum Sinfonieorchester in Stärke und Stil der Wiener Klassik.

Je nach Programm und Zyklus wird die Formation als Orchester oder Ensemble besetzt, um auf diese Weise alle Sparten der Musik ausreichend abdecken zu können und das WKO musikalisch flexibel zu halten.

Alle bisherigen Erfahrungen der Ensemblemitglieder als Solisten, Kammermusiker, oder Orchestermusiker machen dieses Ensemble einzigartig und kommen bei der musikalischen Umsetzung voll zur Geltung.

Das Wiener Klassik Ensemble hat in jeder Hinsicht einen starken Wien-Bezug: Alle Mitglieder haben hier studiert, alle sind hier bereits seit mehreren Jahren in den wichtigsten und größten Orchestern tätig. In dieser Stadt lernten wir uns kennen und gegenseitig schätzen. Die laufende Auseinandersetzung mit den großen Meistern der Wiener Klassik, in deren Zeit nicht zuletzt auch Schubert, Lanner, Strauß Vater und Sohn wirkte, lieferte den Anlass, unser Ensemble nach dieser Epoche zu benennen.

Seit jeher übte die Hauptstadt der K. und K. Monarchie auf alle Musiker einen ungeahnten Zauber aus, dem auch wir uns nicht entziehen wollen und können. In allen Bereichen wollen wir einen Still der musikalischen Tradition bewahren, die diese Stadt mit ihrer Musik so berühmt und unverwechselbar gemacht hat.

The Wienerklassik Orchestra was founded by Soloists of significant Viennese Orchestras in 1998. The extraordinary versatility of the Orchestra is especially shown in its ability to change the head count of musicians playing, - from a string Quartet to Chamber Music up to a Symphonic Orchestra from the size and style of the Viennese Classic.

Depending on the Program the Ensemble can be equipped for making it able for all kinds of Music and keep the Orchestra musically flexible. All further experiences that the Members of the Orchestra have made as Soloists , Chamber Musicians , or Orchestra musicians make the Orchestra unique and bring their Music up to bear.

The Vienna Wienerklassik Orchestra in any way has a strong relation to Vienna. All its Members have studied in Vienna and all of them have been working here with the most important and biggest local Orchestras for many Years now. In this Town they met for the first time and learned to become sensitively aware of each other.

The continuing Work with the great Masters of the Viennese Classic and their Period and at least Composers like Schubert, Lanner and Strauss were the reason to call the Ensemble after this Period.

Since ever the Capital of the Monarchy has had the power to attract all the Musicians which we also were not able to escape. In all these Spheres we want to keep musical Traditions that have made this Town so famous and unexchangeable.

  L'Orchester Wienerklassik fu fondato nel 1998 da solisti provenienti da importanti orchestre viennesi.
La straordinaria versatilità dell'orchestra si manifesta soprattutto nella sua possibilità di cambiare il numero di musicisti, dal quartetto d'archi al gruppo da camera fino all'orchestra sinfonica nell'organico (numero) e nello stile classico viennese.
A seconda del programma l'ensemble può essere strutturato in modo da essere idoneo e flessibile a tutti i tipi di musica.

Tutte le precedenti esperienze fatte dai membri dell'orchestra in qualit di solisti, di musicisti da camera e d'orchestra, rendono unico l'Ensemble Wiener Klassik e portano la sua musica a livelli di assoluto valore.

L'Ensemble Wiener Klassik ha, sotto tutti i punti di vista, una forte relazione con Vienna. Tutti i suoi elementi hanno studiato a Vienna e tutti hanno lavorato qui per molti anni con le più importanti orchestre locali. In questa città si sono incontrati per la prima volta e hanno imparato a conoscersi e ad affiatarsi reciprocamente. Il costante lavoro con i grandi Maestri del Classicismo Viennese e del loro periodo e non ultimi anche con compositori come Schubert, Lanner e Strauss, ha fatto sì che l'ensemble si richiamasse nel nome a quest'epoca.

Da allora la Capitale dell'Impero ebbe quel potere di attrarre tutti i musicisti al quale neppure noi abbiamo voluto e saputo sottrarci. In tutti questi aspetti vogliamo conservare le tradizioni musicali che hanno reso questa città e la sua musica così famose e inconfondibili.

  「ウィーンクラシックオーケストラ」は1998年、ウィーンの著名なソリスト達 によって立ち上げられた。このオーケストラの類まれな才能は弦楽四重奏などの室内楽から管弦楽までのあらゆる規模とスタイルを持った音楽、特にウィーンの 音楽において発揮されている。

このオーケストラはあらゆ る楽曲に対し編成を柔軟に変化させることで対応することができる。さらに個々がソリストとして、室内楽奏者として、オーケストラのプレイヤーとして活動を 行うことによってこのオーケストラを類まれなものにしている。

ウィーンクラシックオーケストラは形はどうあれ、強くウィーンに関わりを持っている。メンバーはみな、ウィーンで研鑽を積み、地元の オーケストラとともに長年にわたり現在に至るまで活動を行っている。メンバーはウィーンにおいて初めて顔を合わせた時から、互いに影響を受け合ってきた。

このオーケストラの主たる活動としてはウィーンのクラシック界を代表するシューベルト、ラン ナー、シュトラウスといった作曲家達であり、そのため「ウィーンクラシックオーケストラ」と名づけた。

これまで"the capital of the monarchy" はあらゆる音楽家達にとって魅力のあるものだった。そしてそれはまた、避けては通れないものでもあった。私達はウィーンの伝統音楽を守りたい。それは ウィーンという町をあまりにも有名で、不可換なものにしているから。
